Maria Mylene F. Abad, MD

Dr. Abad attained her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1983 from the University of the Philippines, in Manila, Philippines. She acquired her medical degree from the University of the Philippines in 1987. Dr. Abad completed her residency in 1993 at New York University Medical Center, Bellevue Hospital, New York, NY. She did a fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology from 1993-1996 at Mt. Sinai Hospital, New York, NY.

Dr. Abad is Board Certified in Pediatrics and welcomes patients from birth to adolescence.

Dr. Abad worked in private practice for eleven years in New Mexico and one year in Arizona before joining Sun Life in 2009. She enjoys swimming reading and bowling.
