Deepak Nayyar, MD

Dr. Nayyar completed his Pre-medical studies in 1982 at GND University Amritsar, Punjab, India. He completed his Medicine & Surgery degree in 1987 at the Government Medical College Patiala, Patiala, Punjab, India.

Dr. Nayyar’s postgraduate training included residency in Internal medicine at Rajendra Hospital, Patiala, Punjab, India. He trained in Preliminary Medicine at St. Francis Hospital, Evanston, Illinois in 1998, and Neurology at Loyola University Medical Center, Maywood, Illinois in 1999. In 2008, Dr. Nayyar completed residency in Family Medicine at Columbus Medical Center, Columbus, Georgia. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine.

Dr. Nayyar was born in Kananiwala, Jalandar, Punjab, India. He joined Sun Life in 2010. Dr. Nayyar welcomes patients of all ages from children to geriatrics.
